How long does Canespro take? A realistic timeline

Two questions come up more than any other: how long until the nail is gone, and how long until it looks normal again. They have very different answers.

Days 1–3: softening

Little visible change. The nail surface may look paler and feel slightly spongy at the edges.

Week 1–2: active removal

Each soak lifts more material. Most people remove between a third and two-thirds of the infected nail in this window.

Week 2–4: completion

The last section near the cuticle is usually the most stubborn. Continue until no discoloured nail remains.

Month 2–12: regrowth

Fingernails regrow in roughly three to six months, toenails in nine to twelve. Big toenails are always slowest.
