Nail patches vs creams and lacquers
These are different kinds of product, so the honest comparison is about routine and role, not a winner.

Creams
Pharmacy antifungal creams are medicines aimed mainly at the skin. They spread onto surrounding skin and rub off in socks.
Lacquers
Amorolfine and similar lacquers are licensed antifungals painted on weekly for six to twelve months. Effective for early infection, slow going on thick nails.
Hydrogel patches
Cosmetic care, not medicine. Their strength is a clean, repeatable overnight step with nothing to wash off.
Using them together
Many people use a pharmacy product for the skin and patches as the nightly nail routine. Ask a pharmacist about your combination.
Frequently asked
Which works fastest?
Nothing works fast on nails — the nail has to grow out either way. Choose the routine you will actually keep up.
Can I use a patch over cream?
No. Cream stops the patch adhering. Apply the patch to a bare, dry nail.
